LWW - Lady's Glycine cocktail watch, manual wind, 8mm x 39mm to lug tips, original platinum hinged back case set with 78 diamonds that weigh approximately 0.72 ctw, integrated platinum bracelet set with a further 93 single cut diamonds the weigh approximately 0.62 ctw, original white dial with black enamel painted numerals, 17J, s#55974. Gross weight of case and bracelet without movement 9.7 dwt (15.2 g). Originally purchased for Helen Toland, the first wife of Academy Award winning cinematographer Greg Toland, who shot such famous films as Wuthering Heights, The Outlaw, and Citizen Kane.
